The Indian Society of Trauma and Acute Care (ISTAC^®) is committed for the development of efficient trauma care systems in India.

After successful organization of conferences in 2008 and 2009 and the overwhelming response received from India and abroad, it is a pleasure to announce TRAUMA 2010 - the third international conference and CME cum live Workshops to be organized by Indian Society of Trauma and Acute Care (ISTAC^®) from 26-28th Nov 2010. The theme of conference is “Current Trends in Trauma Management”.

The conference will provide the nationwide platform for exchange of scientific information, ideas and experiences for professionals working in the field of Trauma Care in India.

The scientific programme of the conference will focus on current and emerging trends in pre-hospital care, emergency room care, critical care and multidisciplinary approach to management of trauma victims .

There will be pre-conference workshops, panel discussions on various topics of interest to the practicing general surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, anesthetists, emergency physicians, radiologists, laboratory physicians, forensic experts, physiotherapists and nurses. The conference will provide a great opportunity of learning to the postgraduate students.

We invite all the professionals actively involved in Trauma Care in the country to the Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, and New Delhi this year for this academic treat.
